Hi! I'm Laura Young, a professional voiceover talent. People often describe my voice as warm, sultry, smart, sincere, and professional.
Having started my professional life as a clinical social worker I was always told my voice expressed incredible warmth and compassion. Social workers wear many hats, including educator, supporter, investigator, cheerleader, enforcer, and confidant; all roles that feed directly into the voice work I do now.
Utilizing my smart, articulate, natural voice I am able to create some incredible sounding projects with ease. Given my background, emotionally compelling and educational projects come quite naturally to me, as do medical and technical narration. My quirky, girl-next-door side shines through in more conversational, lighter, whimsical projects.
I was born and raised in Colorado and currently reside in the Midwest, so you can trust my voice to be an excellent fit for just about any project!
